Hello again,

Looks like they released rigs for 4.0 with a new license, the Microsoft Permissive License. If you happened to be working on a XNA 4 version, perhaps this would enable distribution? They don't appear to be premium content either. I'm hopeful :)

Cheers,
Eric

No worries, Simon, it's completely understandable. That being said, I suspect the XNA folks would be happy to take your modified rig and update their original to use your changes if you wanted to go that way. Either way, thanks for the response.

Hi Eric,

I have asked a question on the XNA Community Forums about the interpretation of the Microsoft XNA Premium Content License. I was expecting some clarifications regarding the distribution of a modified premium content, and I was thinking that a member of the XNA team could give me the answer but, as you can read in the thread (which is locked now), and as it is specified in this post, it seems more complicated than that. I have neither the money nor the time to find a way to distribute this rig without risking any legal problem. I am sorry, I know that you were expecting to use this rig.
